Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Trade Association Brief Introduction

Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Trade Association (SNTA), founded in January 2002, is a professional social group voluntarily organized by nonferrous metals enterprises, institutions and other economic organizations in Shanghai and surrounding area. Its members are comprised of state-owned, collectively-owned, private enterprises, joint ventures and enterprises invested by foreigners or investors from Taiwan, which are covering the producing, trading and applying areas of nonferrous metals industry.

The aims and tasks of SNTA is to ensure fair competition, guarantee the legal rights of members, build a relationship among enterprises, government and social, strengthen the international communication and cooperation, enhance the competitive power of enterprises, promote the development of nonferrous metals industry and make great efforts to serve members.

SNTA has three media to release information, which are website "www.smm.com.cn", weekly newspaper "Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Information" and periodical "Shanghai Nonferrous Metals". Each year, SNTA will hold forums twice, which focus on the resources, prices, market and development of nonferrous metals industry. SNTA has already built a platform for members to communicate and cooperate.

SNTA can provide special service for members according to their demands and assist to solve the problems by taking advantage of its resources in different methods.

SNTA insists on the principal of democracy and performs according to its Articles of Association. Regardless of scale, type of capital invested, ownership, subordinate relationship and location, members are equal to enjoy all kinds of services provided by SNTA.
